Join this leading company in coal mine production at one of their major sites inland from [Location]. They are known throughout the mining industry for the investment that they put into their most valued resource, their people.
They have many current contracts under their control throughout Queensland in both the mining and civil construction sectors.
Currently they are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Mining Superintendent to oversee operations at one of their major interests inland from [Location]. With your past experience in open cut coal mining at a senior level, you will be reporting to the Project Manager on site, where your main area of responsibility will lie in your ability to successfully manage the pit operations at a safe and productive level, constantly attaining production targets.
You will...
· Manage the planning and organisation of production personnel and equipment.
· Oversee the implementation of production plans pertaining to the site.
· Be accountable for the coaching and mentoring of supervisors to ensure continuous improvement and development across the site.
· Lead the production team in achievement of outstanding results in an environment that is committed to safety at all times.
To be successful you will ideally...
· Have worked in a similar position in an open cut coal mining environment.
· Be able to demonstrate achievement of production targets, working within budget constraints.
· Have exceptional analytical and organisational abilities.
· Have fantastic communication and people management skills.
