Our client, a famous coal producer has a requirement for an Environmental Advisor at one of their key sites near Queensland's stunning coast line.

As the lead Environmental Advisor your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
· Carry out environmental monitoring, rehabilitation and research.
· Take on practical duties associated with maintaining and enhancing the environment.
· Supervise compliance with environmental site policies, and relevant legislative requirements including completion of regular audits.
· Encourage appropriate environmental attitudes and practices amongst personnel.
To be successful in this role you must have:
· Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
· Exceptional understanding of ISO14001
· Exposure to open cut or underground mining, preferably coal
· Have effective oral and written communication skills
· A high level of self motivation and enthusiasm
