Business Developer - Resource Sector

[Company] division of a $billion international business operation. The continued growth & expansion in the resource sector has created an excellent career opportunity for a Business Developer to join the National Mining & Resources team.
The group has 12 Queensland offices currently and is looking to build upon existing mining and resource relationships to expand into Central Queensland.
The primary objectives of this newly-created role is to develop new client business relationships in the area.
You will be specifically responsible for:
· Managing a database of mining clients & candidates
· Nurturing & developing business relationships
· Developing and maintaining a marketing cycle
· Delivering high levels of client service
There will be a need to travel to remote areas in Central Queensland to visit clients, where you may also be accompanied by personnel from the National Mining Team. A fully maintained company vehicle will be provided.
To be considered for this exciting role, you will ideally have previous recruitment or sales experience in the areas of trades and/or mining. Alternatively, you may be looking for a career change within the mining or civil fields. Your excellent communication & time management skills & the ability to make decisions independently will be well rewarded.
