Mining Engineer

Become a member of a Mine Planning team and with the direction and mentoring from the senior technical staff, your engineering skill set will grow to include :
· Development and Infrastructure Design
· Mine Planning and Scheduling
· Economic Evaluation of reserves
· Risk assessments and blasting plans
Once confident that all technical areas have been covered, your choice will be to either :
Remain with Planning, leading challenging projects and/or be responsible for identifying, evaluating and optimizing reserves from concept to production.
OR
Transfer to the stimulating production environment of a complex operation. Your unique “hands on” production/planning proficiency will be invaluable in providing solutions to mine management whilst you gain the necessary experience to move into a Senior production role
We need a skilled and enthusiastic Mining Engineer who is degree qualified, has 2 to 3 years experience and who is confident in his or her ability to make a great addition to the team.
