This listed mining company has two exploration projects about to go into full production and needs to add more resources into the Commercial division.
This company likes to develop their management team from within so you can get to know how things are done so high level decisions are made consistently through experience and knowledge. This is an opportunity to become a Commercial Manager in 12 months.
The Commercial Accountant will work very closely with the regional General Manager as well as a number of the Mine Managers and Commercial Managers. You will be responsible for the accountability of these projects from budget control and analysis to compliance and reporting.
You will be required from time to time to travel to sites which will be in a remote location in Queensland.
You will be a qualified Commercial Accountant or Management Accountant who has had some exposure to contracts with suppliers and sub contractors.
This is a stepping stone to becoming the Commercial Manager of one of the mines which would look fantastic on your resume as well as come with a salary that you might have only dreamed of. You will be given the tools to succeed.
