Hydrogeologist

We are currently looking for an excellent Groundwater Hydrogeologist to help lead the research, analysis and collection of the groundwater impact investigations in relation to underground coal gasification.
Through this role you will develop and enhance your understanding of underground coal gasification processes in relation to potential groundwater impacts on both national and international projects, as well as develop and make recommendations to minimize any potential impacts.
The role involves analysis on both current and future projects. You will have to work closely with 3rd party consultants and internal teams as well in order to design best practice UCG operations.
In order to be successful you will have the following:
· 3-5 years experience as a consultant Hydrogeologist
· Demonstrated experience in coal geology and coal aquifer analysis
· Demonstrated research & report writing experience
· Tertiary qualifications in Geology and Hydrogeology
· Relevant international project experience would be desirable
