Mining Production Geologists

Our client is a growing mining and metals company whose principal activities include mineral exploration, development and mining in Africa. The Company produces copper and gold and are listed on the Toronto and London Stock Exchanges. They envisage the need to employ Geologists at both junior and senior level at their operations the DRC.

The ideal candidates will have:

• At least 2-3 years experience in mine geology for the junior levels and extensive mine geology at senior level.
• Extensive practical experience in grade control geology
• Well entrenched safety and quality principles
• Minimum a BSc Geology or equivalent
• Good working knowledge of Surpac and Minesched software
• Work well in a team environment
• Possess good communication skills
• Extensive experience in database creation and management at senior levels
