HSEC Advisor

Our Client is a significant force in the files of construction and contract mining. With operations already established in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia and 3500 employees, the company is now looking to increase the size and scope of its operations.
They are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced HSEC Advisor to join their team.
Key responsibilities will include;
· Facilitating business improvement.
· Providing support to project and business units in environmental and safety management.
· Project start-ups, preparation of project plans, project procedures.
· Planning and conducting internal audits.
· Generation, review and maintenance of safety and environmental plans, procedures and ensuring the compliance with client standards and procedures.
· Conducting risk assessments and implementing controls.
· Monthly safety and environmental statistics.
· Promotion of safety and environmental awareness, accountability and responsibility across the organisation.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will possess;
· Tertiary qualifications in a HSEC related discipline
· Experience working within the mining or construction sectors would be advantageous.
· Those with a recognised internal quality (ISO9001), safety (ISO4801) and /or environmental (ISO14001) auditing qualification will be considered favourably.
