HSEQ Superintendent

Our Client is a leading contractor providing services to customers in both the mining and civil construction sectors. The company is a growing public company employing more than 3,400 people.
There is currently an opportunity for a qualified and experienced HSEQ Superintendent to become part of an integral part of the team.
Key responsibilities of this role include;
· Advising project management and personnel of legislative requirements, guidelines, codes of practice and standards relevant to workplace risk management
· Continuously improve safety performance
· Take a visible leadership role in the implementation of safety in the workplace.
· Ensure the company’s safety and environment system requirements are consistently and comprehensively adhered to
The successful candidate will possess;
· Tertiary qualifications in OHS and other supporting education will be highly regarded
· Approximately 8-10 years experience in the mining industry
