Mineral Extraction Engineer

This is a need for a mining and energy services company with services
that include laboratory-scale research on new processes or adaptation of known
technology to new situations, followed by pilot plant demonstration,
preliminary engineering, and cost analysis
Projects range from beaker-scale
experiments and analyses to multimillion-dollar continuous pilot or
demonstration plants
Company is seeking a candidate with a minimum of five
years of mining industry experience involved with hands on problem solving of
mineral extraction process techniques using, research & development, design
of experiments and Comminution along with a particular industry recognized
expertise in at least one of the following skills:
- Hydrometallurgy Froth
Floatation Separation Pyrometallurgy
- This individual must have a track record
of high-energy output, excellent writing skills, and a highly developed ability
to work with clients to manage a project from conception to completion.
- This
individual must have a deep understanding and enthusiasm for their particular
area of expertise as well as an understanding of sound business and management
practices.
- Additional experience with an expertise in synthetic fuels or waste
for the energy industry would be a plus.
- A minimum BS degree in Chemical
Engineering, Metallurgy, Mining Engineering, Chemistry or an applicable related
degree is required.
- Advanced degrees are preferred.
