Description
The Central Equipment Services (CES) is currently seeking a motivated, dynamic person with relevant experience to operate mobile cranes in a site wide service operation utilizing equipment that incorporates state of the art technology.
Operation of this world class equipment includes:
- Grove RT's (65+ ton)
- Liebherr AT's (55 to 500 ton)
- Manitowoc (4000 and 4100's)
The successful candidate will work various shifts in a team environment that focuses on developing semi-autonomous business units. Team activities include responsibility and accountability for the day-to-day function of the team in conjunction with a high level of employee involvement in running the business.
Qualifications
This future CES employee will be an Interprovincial or Alberta Journey certified crane operator and have the ability to operate various mobile cranes safely, with a minimum of supervision while being able to handle multiple tasks. In keeping with our relentless pursuit of zero recordable injuries, crane operators are expected to visibly support and follow the Company’s Mobile Crane Hoisting Controls.
This employee will have good verbal and written communication skills with a mathematical aptitude for reading load charts, calculating load percentages and assisting with engineered lift plans. He/she will also have a high school graduation or a GED diploma.
