Process Operator (Extraction and Aurora)

Description
Our Production division is seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our Extractions operations at our Mildred Lake and Aurora plant sites. The successful candidate will be assigned to a Production Unit and will learn all aspects of operating a process unit. You will be responsible for monitoring process equipment, report deviations to the process or equipment, be capable of performing minor maintenance tasks and interface with field supervision and maintenance teams to ensure ongoing reliability of the equipment and processes. At times you will be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED)
Desirable assets include:
- Gas Field Operators Certificate
- Process Operations experience
- Industrial Experience (1 year or more)
Skills:
- Good analytical skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse individuals and groups
- Ability to work on various Microsoft products: Word, Excel, Outlook
- It is expected that these positions will be filled locally by candidates who currently reside in the Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
