It's an exciting time for us. At our sites, 40 and 80 kilometres north of the vibrant city of Fort McMurray Alberta, we operate mines and plants that produce crude oil volumes of 350,000 barrels a day.
We are seeking experienced Riggers to join our shovel maintenance team in the Mine area. This team manages the planning, scheduling and execution of mining's shovel maintenance and repairs.
Successful candidates will work in a team environment that may involve shift work and they must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency diploma (GED)
- Journey Certification as an Iron Worker with 3-5 years experience with rigging heavy loads or
- Journey Certifiication as a trades person with minimum 5 years experience with rigging heavy loads .
- A minimum of 3-5 years related experience in signaling mobile cranes.
- Ability to participate in the development of Engineered Lift Studies.
Desirable assets include:
- Qualified to Operate Fork lift - Loader
- Attended Fall Protection Course
- Overhead Crane operations
- Operate Personnel lifts
- Preference will be given to candidates living in the Fort McMurray region.
