Due to this companys ambition we are currently seeking an Environmental Specialist to join the team.
As the Environmental Specialist you will be advising all facets of onsite operations, the compliance of operations and project teams.
You would be committed to continuous improvement and display confidence in liaising with management and external auditing bodies.
You will need:
· Previous mine site experience in an environmental role
· Tertiary qualifications in environmental science or environmental engineering
· Strong communication skills, verbal and written
· Excellent organisational skills
· Solid knowledge of the relevant legislations and Australian standards
· Experience with ISO 14001 management systems
· A high interest in greenhouse and sustainability performance
A background in project or people management and experience in health and safety will be highly regarded. You should also have strong computer literacy and be able to quickly develop lasting relationships with all levels of the business.
