Development Metallurgist

• The successful candidate will be a member of an active team involved in a range of challenging projects
• The work will involve the design, development and scale-up of pyro-and hydrometallurgical refining processes.
• Applicants must have a degree in Metallurgy or Minerals Engineering. A PhD and/or experience in the metals refining or minerals processing industry with experience of pilot and main plant operation would be ideal
• The successful candidate will be self motivated, quick on the uptake and able to plan their project work effectively.
• Good communication and presentation skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues at all levels, are essential. 
• Metallurgical, Mineralogical (or other relevant process) degree 
• Experience of metallurgical or chemical processes
• Understanding of phase diagrams and thermodynamic databases
