Due to the continued growth of the mining sector in South Australia, and Amdel's continued success in providing clients with a high quality service, Amdel is looking to strengthen its technical capability in Adelaide. As these roles are pivotal to the success of Amdel, on offer are attractive remuneration packages and rewards commensurate with experience and skills.
 
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager of the Adelaide Geoanalytical division, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of an extensive XRF facility that provides analytical services to the mining industry.
 
Whilst troubleshooting and developing methods on PANalytical XRF instrumentation, you will also work closely with customers ensuring studies are conducted and reported in line with their expectations. In this role, you will be regarded as the technical XRF expert and you will identify and recommend new technologies and conduct R&D as required.
 
You will have a tertiary qualification in chemistry or related discipline and extensive hands on experience with XRF technology. Expertise in fused bead and pressed powder applications will be highly regarded. As well as being a high achiever, you will have a professional attitude and possess excellent communication skills and leadership skills.
