Experienced Mechanic

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be involved in all aspects of constructing above and below ground mining equipment
• Assemble, install and test braking, electrical, hydraulic, power train, and mechanical systems
• Working familiarity with compressors
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently independently as well as part of a team
• Good written and interpersonal communication skills
• Assemble, install and test as necessary

Qualifications:

• 5 years experience working on heavy duty equipment (preferred)
• Provincial Certification (Red Seal preferred)
• Must have sufficient tools to perform duties Production Assembly
• Some mechanical experience and own hand tools preferred
