Mining Engineer

Senior Mine Engineer - underground mine Position located in Saskatoon, SK Compensation: six figures including bonus and relocation

• The Mine Engineer is responsible for the coordination & performance of the engineering department, including the development of long & short term mine plans, underground surveying, monitoring & resolution of ground control issues, mentorship of junior engineering staff

• Coordination of short & long term mine planning (design & scheduling); co-ordinate underground overhauls & replacements; ensure management of ground control issues; communicate mine plans with the Mine Manager, Mill Manager and Mine Superintendent; manage compliance with safety & environmental requirements; participate in budget process (capital & operational)
• Experience with SURPAC is highly desired
• You will possess a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Mining and have 8 years underground mining experience, and posses excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving, and organization skills;
