Instrumentation Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Engineer (Instrumentation) to lead team members in execution of solutions to plant challenges

• The incumbent will manage the development of engineering solutions with minimal direction. Participate and/or lead projects teams
• Work as a valued team member of Central Engineering
• Provide supervision of personnel in times of immediate supervisors absence
• Develop as the "go to" person in an area of specialization (hoisting, power distribution, robotics, controls)
• Mentor junior members of the Central Engineering Team
• Coordinate projects up to $10,000,000 while controlling deliverables, cost and schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional Engineer with minimum 10 years operations/design/project management experience

SKILLS:

• Knowledge of engineering standards, practices, procedures, and requirements
• Project management & coordination knowledge
• Design knowledge for the given discipline with some areas of specialization
• Industrial experience in pulp & paper,mining,cement or other similiar industries
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation
• Strong organizational, management, communication and human relation skills
• Must be able to apply and use standard MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficient organizational skills for planning and project coordination. This includes analytical and decision making skills
• Excellent communication skills including written, oral, and demonstrative
• Interpersonal communication
• Effective time management - priority setting
