Our client, a leading mining company with project's based all over Australia are seeking an experienced Underground Fitter.
In this role you will be an instrumental part of the maintenance team focusing on the preventative maintenance and breakdown repair of Continuous Miners, Shuttle Cars and other underground equipment.
Within this role you will be required to have a competent understanding of underground plant maintenance and a proven ability with fault finding and diagnostics.
This role will require you to have developed interpersonal skills coupled with a track record in previous underground mining related maintenance role.
To be successful you will be required to have the following skills and abilities:
· Trade qualified Diesel Fitter
· High focus on safety
· Previous exposure to Continuous Miners, Shuttle Cars and other underground equipment
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Self motivated and a positive attitude
