Due to continued growth, our client is now seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Hydro geologist to join their team in Sydney and focus on contaminated sites groundwater assessment

Your responsibilities would include managing projects, providing technical advice to create innovative and dynamic solutions for our clients, strategise, preparing and winning proposals and developing and maintaining client relationships. A good approach to collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams is essential.

You will have a range of the following expertise:
·         At least 12 years as a practising hydro geologist (with at least half of that time in the area of contaminated sites groundwater assessment being desirable).
·         Proven ability to design and interpret groundwater investigation and monitoring programs.
·         Expertise in water supply assessment and design particularly in the mining or irrigation industry.
·         Demonstrated ability to develop a conceptual groundwater model(s) for a site including identification of site specific contaminant fate and transport risk assessment factors.
·         Desirable qualities include the capacity to design and supervise the installation of various groundwater remediation systems including basic pump and treat, sparging, injection and other innovative methods. Experience in aquifer storage and recovery would also be highly regarded.
