Our client, one of Australia's newest providers of mining and mine development services, in open cut and underground mining is expanding one of their underground operations due to the continued growth in the Queensland coal market.
They have a number of operations across Australia and have a requirement for Underground Electricians as they look to further develop an already strong operating site in Central Queensland.
In this role you will utilize your electrical skills to ensure maximum plant/equipment availability while working with the highest level of safety.
In this role, your responsibilities will involve:
· Maintenance/installation of electrical aspects of underground coal mining equipment.
· Breakdown maintenance of equipment
· Liaise with other members of the maintenance and operations teams
· Maintain a high level of safety and environmental standards
You must be a trade qualified Electrician, and the successful candidates will preferably have;
· Experience in electrical installation & maintenance related to Underground Coal
· Installing and maintaining underground communications experience
· Installation and maintenance of H.V and L.V reticulation Systems
