Our client is a leading mid-tier mining company with an expanding portfolio of assets and an extensive exploration budget.
As a result of strong growth, this attractive mining house is seeking to appoint an All Round Mine Surveyor to fulfill the survey related functions across both open cut and underground aspects at their signature mine site in Western Australia.
This multi-faceted role will provide a diversified range of responsibilities and involvement across several open cut and underground operations. You will work as a key figure in the mine surveying team and be located only a short hop from [Location].
Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, this role will take responsibility for the following:
· Survey setout and pickup's
· Office based reduction and calculations for the open cut and underground operations
· Provision of technical advice and design plans to the senior production personnel.
To be successful you will ideally have tertiary qualifications in surveying with some experience in open pit or underground mining operations.
A Grade 1 survey certification is also preferred. In addition to this, exposure to Leica and Trimble equipment, coupled with experience with Surpac or Vulcan software would be beneficial.
