Maintenance Planner - SMR - 3080

We have an exceptional opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join the team at our [Location] based in the Regional South Australia approximately [Location]. The project is scheduled to expand over the next 18 months, doubling mining production levels during this period.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent working an 8 on & 6 off residential roster, you will plan and close out all mobile plant maintenance within a stipulated budget and timeframe. You will be required to analyse data to predict future maintenance needs and maximise equipment performance.

You will be conversant in scheduling techniques, the creation and tracking of shutdown plans, as well as both weekly and long term planning using MS Project, spreadsheets and computerised maintenance planning systems (Mims Ellipse and JDE) or similar. Knowledge of plant equipment is essential for providing component schedules and usage plans.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience, be computer proficient, have excellent communication skills, as well as an understanding of business budgets, control systems and cost estimation/reporting. Tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering and/or a mechanical trade certificate are essential.
