manufacturing of improved methods for eliminating metal wear problems, within a
multitude industries.
Primary Function
of the Position
- Aid in the control
of defective products through inspection methods and testing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Must possess advanced welding skills in
metallurgy, and shop equipment, e.g. tape measure, micrometer, vernier
caliper and dial caliper.
- Must be knowledgeable of AWS standards.
- Must be able to read blueprint.
- Must be able to read work orders.
- Prepare material samples for Sales and
Testing Department.
- Prepare and submit reports of defects,
delays and corrections.
- Conduct test using destructive and/or
nondestructive methods.
- Must have a strong math background.

Requirements
- Certification vocational/associates
degree
- Welding certificate a plus
- Fitter experience helpful
