RESPEC, a nationally recognized engineering consulting
firm with international projects, seeks an experienced individual to provide
technical leadership and assist in expanding the firm’s capabilities in
geoengineering. The firm’s projects generally are in the areas of rock
mechanics and materials testing. The firm’s projects typically exclude soil
mechanics, foundations, and construction. This position requires an
individual with knowledge in computer-aided modeling, field instrumentation,
and mechanical behavior of geological materials. The applicant should possess
a background in the oil and gas industry, mining industry, or other fields
related to geomechanics. The person in this position will be responsible
for individual performance on specific projects. The person will be
located in Rapid City, South Dakota and limited travel
will be associated with the position.
- The successful
candidate must have a Ph.D., or a Masters Degree with 5 or more years of
experience, in Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related
engineering discipline in geoengineering.
- The candidate must
have excellent oral and written communication skills with evidence of
publications.
- Demonstrated
business development and project management skills would be considered
favorably.
- Candidate must be a
U.S. Citizen and be able to qualify for a U.S. Federal Government Security
Clearance.
Salary depending on
experience along with participation in an Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
