Environmental Geologist

Highly-acclaimed, Rocky Mountain Environmental Consulting Firm is actively seeking a Field Geologist to join its growing team in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

• Qualified candidates will offer a BS Degree in Environmental Science or Geology and have 2-3 years of environmental consulting experience (any oil and gas industry experience is considered a huge plus).
• This position involves task/project management and implementation, including: the coordination and preparation of assessment proposals and plans, implementation of site assessment fieldwork (boring/well installation and soil/groundwater sampling, data management and report preparation).

This position requires the following:

• Organized, independent worker with effective written and verbal communication skills - good computer skills required.
• BS Degree in Environmental Sciences, Geology or related field (preferred but not required).
• 2-3 years of environmental consulting experience
• Any oil and gas and/or UST experience is considered a plus.

This position can interview and start immediately. Local candidates preferred. Candidates must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen.
