Senior Mineral Processing Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the integrity of process design on feasibility studies and detailed engineering for existing and future oil sands operations and expansions.
• Provides input and advise for process development planning, testing and data collection to insure integrity of the process design.
• Works with operations and process development personnel to incorporate their input into the process design.
• Develops process criteria and design, engineering packages and operating costs for conceptual studies.
• Manages and participates in the pre-feasibility studies.
• Manages and participates in the detailed engineering.
• Participate in commissioning and start-up planning and execution.
• Coordinates activities between the Fire Insurance Claims Group, site personal and fire construction manager team.
• Integrating current operating learnings and detailed engineering from advanced projects into the development engineering and planning
• This must be accomplished with a rapidly changing environment in terms of potential options and business opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degrees in Mineral Processing or Metallurgy
• 10 years experience in the minerals industry
• Engineering, commissioning and operating experience
