Field Geologist

Do you like the idea of being part of a highly focused team responsible for supplying geological support to Solid Energy’s mining operations?
We require an experienced Geologist to assist with field investigations, supervising drilling programmes, development of computer models/plans, database maintenance and data validation and interpretation. Graduate applications will also be considered for this role.
Applicants will have good understanding of structural geology and experience of geological mapping of sedimentary sequences. A tertiary qualification in geology and good computing skills are required. Excellent communication skills plus analytical and decision-making ability are essential. Previous coal-mining experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
