Human Resources Coordinator

Description:

  • Reporting to the Lead HR Business Partner, this position will provide administrative support to the business partner and recruiting specialist team.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting:
  • Coordinates scheduling of interviews, which may include scheduling, expectation setting with candidates, providing directions, etc.
  • Composes and sends routine correspondence to candidates.
  • Responds to internal/external inquiries regarding employment status from applicants, client
  • managers and employees.
  • Performs data management functions, including manual candidate data entry, creating,
  • maintaining and updating external job postings, and maintaining the external applicant website
  • and database as directed.
  • Assists in maintaining accurate data entry and integrity of recruitment tracking system.
  • Organizes/manages candidate paperwork; hard copy resumes and other candidate, recruiter, or
  • manager supporting documentation, as required.
  • Supports recruiting events (campus visits and career fairs) by managing logistics, schedules,
  • marketing materials, booths, etc.
  • Support business partners/recruiters with offer letters and terminations.
  • Administer and monitor referrals.
  • Coordinate with external vendors on employee reference checks
  • Complete employee benefit enrolments.
  • Coordinate meetings for the HR team.
  • Process employee data changes.
  • Maintain HR section on the intranet.
  • Manage the time recording and attending.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant human resources administration/coordination.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to set priorities, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HR and industry trends.
  • Team player.
  • Strong computer skills-including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
