Geologist/Mining Technician, Quality Control Technician

An immediate opening exists in the Geology Department of New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc. for a Geologist/Mining Technician

• The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years experience working in exploration, mine permitting, operations and reclamation
• This position will require fieldwork to maintain mine permits, monitor drilling and blasting, and supervise the water monitoring program as well as assisting in mine planning and other administrative tasks
• A Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Mining Engineering or related science is required
• This position requires a minimum of 2-year experience, strong communication and people skills as well as self-confidence
• Current PA DOT certification in concrete, aggregate and/or bituminous products required
• A 2-year degree, Maryland and West Virginia certifications, and experience with a Nuclear Density gauge are all preferred, but not required. New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc. offers an excellent benefits package and salary commensurate with certification level.
