We currently have an opening for an Accountant in our Head Office located in the Acheson Industrial Park, 10 minutes west of Edmonton.

The Role

• Conduct a variety of accounting activities including complex financial analysis and preparation of financial and operational reports.
• Review sales transactions and financial statements
• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare financial statements and participate in the yearly budget process and year end audit.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Professional Accounting Designation (CGA or CMA) or be in the final stages of the program
• Three years of progressive accounting experience in a full cycle computerized environment
• Advanced spreadsheet skills
• Able to provide concise financial reports to operations personnel
• Strong written and verbal communications
