Buyer for
our Procurement department at our Head Office located in Edmonton, AB

Responsibilities to include:
- Coordinate,
source, price and purchase all aspects of supply chain daily; materials,
equipment parts, service subcontractors, consumables, small tools, job specific
rentals and equipment, within service level definitions and in accordance with
Company prescribed Policies, Procedures and Process Flows
- Prepare all aspects of procurement processes
including negotiated terms and conditions, insurance and bonding requirements
- Assist with evaluation of engineering documentation
(drawings and specifications) for preparation of required MTO's and BOM's,
- Evaluate vendor RFQ submissions, considering
budgeting targets, project schedules, quality assurance requirements and health
and safety requirements.
Qualification
Requirements
- Minimum
5 years experience related to requisitioning/purchasing
- Industrial construction and/or drawing/engineering
experience
- Computer proficiency including MS Office, MRP and
other purchasing software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC)
and working towards a Certified Professional Purchaser (CPP) accreditation
would be beneficial
- Previous Oil & Gas, Construction, Mining and
Pipeline Industry experience preferred
