Summary of Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Sudbury Area Team Leader the successful candidate will
be responsible for delivering field services on Mine Hoists and related
equipment.
- Provide technical expertise to customers
with ABB Mine Hoists and associated drives
- Perform emergency services as required
- Execute System Support Agreements (contracts)
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and develop trust
relationships
- Participate in project commissioning
- Identify ABB business opportunities
Competencies Required:
- Customer Service Orientation,
Teamwork and Cooperation, Initiative, Information Seeking, Relationship
Building, Listening, Understanding and Responding
Specific Qualifications:
- Bachelor's
Degree in Electrical Engineering with 0 - 2 years of experience
- demonstrated
dedication to working safely
- experience
with both AC and DC drives is an asset
- control
system experience is a plus
- knowledge of
pneumatic and hydraulic systems is an advantage
- proven
ability to solve complex problems through detailed investigation
- willingness
to travel
- excellent
customer relations skills
- excellent
oral and written communication skills
