Processing Team Leader

Our Client is the world's largest gold mining company. The Company has a portfolio of 27 mining operations, many advanced explorations projects located across five continents and a large land position on the most prolific and prospective mineral trends. 11 mining operations are found within the Australia Pacific region, with its regional head office located in [Location].
They are currently seeking an experienced Processing Team Leader to join their operation.
Key responsibilities of this role include;
· Supervising seven team members
· Be involved in the monitoring of Crushing, Two Stage Milling circuit (Sag & Ball Mill), Flotation, Leaching, Roasting, Filtration and Paste Plant circuits
· Actively and safely lead this team of Process Technicians to achieve operating targets whilst being able to manage and drive the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work systems to cultivate a strong awareness in the arena of safety and environmental management
Job requirements/ experience;
· 5 years previous experience in processing plant operations
· Proven leadership skills shown through previous supervisory roles, relief or leading hand duties
· Demonstrate the ability to use these leadership skills to improve safety and continuous improvement processes so that production targets are achieved
· A strong focus on training and implementing development plans for process technicians excellent communication skills
· Be an active team player in the Processing department.
