Junior Geologist & Student Geologists

Our Client is a publicly owned major base metal miner and explorer, operating in Western Europe.

The company has a requirement for a Junior Geologist (0-2 years experience) and a number of geology students to fill roles during the 2008. Junior Geologists will be considered for employment immediately and ‘Vac Students’ are required for the 2008 Autumn exploration period.

The roles will require your involvement in basic geology and field work tasks

• ‘Students’ will be involved in practical geology on an active exploration site in an English speaking country
• Junior Geologists will carry out most tasks related to a mineral exploration site, including work related to basic administration and data logging
• Expertise in ArcGIS and other geological programs will be an advantage
• You should be prepared to spend long periods of time in the field, on site.
• Candidates will be current students of geology and European based
• You'll need basic IT skills, a high level if initiative and commitment, boundless enthusiasm
