Environmental Superintendent

• Support mine staff to address operational environmental issues
• Manage environmental monitoring programs and supervise environmental staff and contractors
• Oversight and co-ordination of implementation of construction and operations level requirements of the Environmental Management System (EMS)
• Plan and implement reclamation programs
• Support liaison with government regulators on permitting, licensing & compliance issues
• Operational liaison with public, stakeholders and First Nations.
• B.Sc. in Environmental Science or equivalent
• Minimum two to five years environmental management experience at industrial and/or construction, and/or mine sites; preferably experience in an open pit mining setting; including water management, reclamation and field level EMS development and implementation.
