We are currently seeking entry environmental consultants for work in New Jersey, New York State, and New York City.
- Prospective candidates should have at least a BS/BA in a physical
science (i.e., geology, chemistry, biology, physics, etc.) with 0 to 2 years
experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Field Operations Leader or Task Manager on simple
projects/tasks related to Environmental Science; field work may be at hazardous
waste sites, requiring medical clearance and OSHA training
- Performs the acquisition, processing and analysis of data; and prepares
calculations, tables, graphs, maps and other visual materials for projects and
proposals.
- Conducts investigations, observations and research and prepares reports
or memoranda regarding results related to Environmental Science.
- Operates and calibrates specialized field equipment related to
Environmental Science.
- Well organized, energetic, and enthusiastic individuals with good
people, communication and computer (MS Word, Excel) skills are a must.
- Must also be willing to work overtime and travel (more than ½ time).
