Geotechnical Team Leader
|
- Relevant industry
experience with a BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or Geology and preferably a
MSc/MEng in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar subjects
- Chartered Engineer (ICE) or Geologist
- Strong foundation,
basement, earthworks and ground treatment (including mine workings) design
skills
- A good understanding of
ground investigation techniques and its importance to deriving appropriate
design parameters
- Knowledge
of contaminated land investigation and assessment would be of value
- Undertake detailed
engineering design
- Prepare technical schedules
- Plan and manage CAD documentation
of design work
- Represent the company at
meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers.
- Ensure service and project
work are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget.
- Ensure
that appropriate service/design decisions are met.
