Description:
- Work for the largest maker of construction and mining equipment, diesel
and natural gas engines, and industrial gas turbines in the world!
This is a 24 month contract opportunity in Joliet, IL for a Met Tech.
You will mount material samples of heat treated parts, castings and/or
purchased finished materials in bakelite, pre-grind them, polish, and finish
polishing them for examination. THIS POSITION IS SECOND SHIFT - 12 NOON TO 8:30 PM, MON THRU FRI.

Requirements:
- Technical training or considerable knowledge of metals and heat
treatment procedures and processes is required.
- Previous lab experience and use of large power equipment such as band
saw.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work some weekends and OT up to 25% as required.
- If you have worked in an office environment or if you can work swing
shifts
