Supervising Mining Engineer

Qualification:

• You will have a BSc or MSc in geology, applied geology, mining geology or related.

Experience:

• It is essential that you have a proven working background in engineering which will ideally include prior experience of designing surface and underground drainage works.

Duties:

• Supervision of underground mine remediation; concrete pours, construction trials, shotcrete placement
• Preparation of mine condition assessments and technical reports
• Reviewing contract method statements
• Ensuring technical compliance
• Analysis and forecasting of infill quantities
• Exploration and resource evaluation of mine sites
• Design of surface and underground drainage
• Verification of works
