This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Mining Engineer to join a Global Engineering Consultancy.

As a Senior Mining Engineer joining the Ore Evaluation Services Team you will work on a variety of mining projects.

You will be based in London but travel maybe required within the UK and overseas.

The starting salary for this role is between £30-40k depending on your specific experience.

Qualifications:
·         BSc in Mining Engineering/Earth Science (or suitable degree). MSc in appropriate discipline. A Full UK Driving License is essential.
·         Experience - 5-10 years experience in the mining field

Duties:
·         Open pit or underground mine planning and engineering studies for a range of projects in Australia and overseas
·         Liaising with clients, including writing of proposals and marketing
·         Assist with the development of new business
·         Leadership of project teams
·         Mentor and train junior staff
·         Project management, budgeting and quality control for consulting assignments
·         Liaising with specialists from other disciplines, eg. Ore Evaluation Services (OES), Mining, Environmental and Hydrogeology groups

Typical Projects:
As a Mining Engineer joining the Ore Evaluation Services team based in London you will be working on a variety of mining projects where travel might be required within the UK and overseas.
