Our Client is a privately held mining exploration company with numerous
exploration assets in Mongolia.
The company requires the services of 3-4 project evaluation geologists
for a short-term contract of August to November (3-4 months). This contract
termination is specific to permitting deadlines agreed with government
departments.
The company needs to evaluate 42 prospects within the period described
above. The geologists will be responsible for a certain number of prospects and
will work with local geologists, as teams.
- The main responsibility of each expatriate geologist is to carry out a
rapid evaluation plan of each prospect and decide on mineral potential for each
prospect
- Each prospect is 'raw', a grass roots prospect and geologists will be
evaluating for any mineral with economic potential; specific scope is for
copper, gold, wolfram, bismuth and coal, to name a few.
- Geologists should have appropriate experience, having held similar
senior roles and have experience of mineral project evaluation
- You will be able to leave for Mongolia within 2 weeks,
or when permits have been arranged
- You will have worked in an environment with the pressures brought on by
expectation of results.
- Successful geologists will be remunerated on a highly competitive
day-rate and contract costs are all found
