Duties as Geologist include:
·         Data handling and verification
·         knowledge of data formats, making data fit for purpose.
·         Familiar with operations and websites
·         Limits and value of data.
·         Understanding of seismic data
·         Limitations of data, Relationship in geology and difference of scale.
·         Ability to use logs for geological interpretation
·         Qualitative and semi-qualitive formation evaluation.
·         Principals and practices of reservoir correlation
·         Zonation, Sequence stratigraphy.
·         Seismic Interpretation.
·         Geological model construction
·         Structures, Facies, Flow units, Heterogeneities.
·         Earth model construction
·         Mapping, Volumetrics, Geocellular.
·         Ability to work with specialist data
·         Petrography, Geochemistry, Biostratigraphy, Sedimentology.
·         Well planning.
·         Risk Assessments
·         D&RA, Exploration risk, Identification of uncertainty.
·         Technology skills.
·         Report writing and presentation skills.
·         Ability to communicate well at all levels.

Educational Requirements:
·         Applicants must have honours degree or equivalent.
