Chief Mine Planner

·         Salary:Highly Negotiable (up to USD$120 000 per annum)

A mining company seeks a permanent chief mine planner on its underground gold mine in Fiji.

·         The position will be an expatriate appointment.
·         The candidate should be a mining engineer and have at least five years as a senior mine planner.
·         The candidate should be capable managing and scheduling underground operations to maximise efficiently and keep costs low.
·         The mine is being re-established and the candidate needs to be highly motivated, proactive, and capable of identifying problems and resolving them quickly.
·         The candidate will report to the General Manager of the mine.

A competitive remuneration package will be offered (with board approval includes a substantial number of share options).
