Our client has a range of projects around Australia and offers unrivalled diversity and opportunity. They are currently seeking a Production Supervisor for one their most popular sites. This role offers the chance to be residential in a popular coastal town and enjoy the benefits of that lifestyle.
Reporting to the Project Manager on this open-cut site, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for:
· Maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency
· Building and managing an effective team
· Planning and organizing shift operations to ensure that production targets are met
· Reporting shift data and incidents accurately
· Coaching less experienced operators.
The ideal applicant will have extensive open-cut mining experience including substantial time in a supervisory role. You should also have strong communication and leadership skills and the ability to work to deadlines. QMS 1, 2, 3 is essential.
