Redevelopment of this mine and processing plant is well and truly underway with commissioning due to take place in late 2008. A skilled board and management team have been appointed, their experience in the development and management of world-class mining operations is expected to drive this project through to production. Not only are the management team bringing with them years of hands on experience but they each have a genuine enthusiasm for this project, this enthusiasm is hoped to be transferred onto their staff as each department on site expanse.
To assist through-out the various phases of this project a vacancy has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer whose primary focus is to coordinate and manage aspects of the mechanical work in construction, commissioning and operation stages.
To take part in this exciting project you will need to demonstrate the following:
· A degree in mechanical engineering
· Significant hands on experience in the construction of mines and processing plants
· Considerable experience in project management including the ability to develop project plans, effectively manage projects and see them through to completion
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to manage and work in team

In terms of site capacity the camp has been build to accommodate approximately 250 personnel, because of this its expected that staff will be able to cross skill and individuals will be able to truly immerse themselves into multiple areas of the project.
A family friendly 8:6 roster is in place. Remuneration will be discussed throughout the interview process.
