This is an exceptional opportunity with one of the world's leading coal producers. With many operations in Australia, they are well known as an industry leader in coal production and exporting.
They are currently seeking the services of a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer for their engineering management division. This is a high level appointment that will call on your expertise in managing resources and providing technical support in fixed and mobile plant equipment reliability and productivity, along with cost effectiveness and business improvement facilitation across the division.
The successful applicant will have a high level of communication skills and an excellent commitment health and safety regulations. You will have a demonstrated background in maintenance planning and working closely with other departments to achieve company goals.
Ideally you will have:
· Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
· 5+ years experience in a senior role
· Worked in a supervisory capacity in the mining industry
· Contract Management experience
· A high level of communication skills
