Our Client, a diversified equipment provider to the Mining industry, has a current requirement for an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter based from either [Location] or a fully equipped residential township. This successful OEM has based its success upon the key values of having a strong network with excellent global support and a solid commitment to efficiency and safety. They are constantly presenting career opportunities and development.
Within this role you will be required to have a competent understanding of mobile plant maintenance and a proven ability with fault finding and diagnostics. This role will require you to have developed interpersonal skills coupled with a track record in previous mining related maintenance roles within a field service or heavy duty diesel fitter's role.
Within this role you will be required to have:
· Diagnostic problem solving skills
· Mining equipment Product knowledge e.g. Large Dump Trucks, Excavators
· Trouble shooting exposure
· Customer support experience
To be successful it is essential that you have the following skills and abilities:
· Trade qualified Diesel Fitter
· High focus on safety
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Self motivated with a positive attitude
· Computer literate
