Senior Exploration Geologist - Iron Ore

Our client is a rapidly emerging iron ore company who are actively pursuing and exploring a number of highly prospective projects within [Location] of Western Australia. Drilling has returned positive results from all these prospects and they are well positioned to take full advantage of the booming iron ore market. Exploration budgets have been set for the new financial year at almost 3 times that of last year – they mean business.
About The Position:
· At present, they are in search of a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Exploration Geologist who will help further support and develop their projects. Reporting to the Exploration Manager, you will be responsible for:
· Supervising a team of field staff including geologists and field assistants
· Planning and coordinating exploration activities
· Developing geological models for future exploration
· Ensuring quality control and accuracy of data collection
· Progress reporting and improvement initiatives
